The frogs can be used to teach animal/environmental sound awareness prior to teaching the higher levels of phonological awareness; word, syllable, and speech sound awareness.
These frogs are meticulously carved from non-endangered teak wood by artisans. The handcrafted nature of this product will produce minor differences in color and size.
The distinctive frog resonant croaking sound is best made by holding the frog by its back feet and running the large end of the supplied rasp back-to-front over the frog's spines.
