Liven up learning in your classroom, therapy clinic, or home program with this comprehensive music-assisted learning curriculum. Tuned in to Learning uses music to teach special learners in over 90 different educational goal areas! Using a combination of inventive songs and vibrant visual support, it gives you the ability to connect music to real life outcomes. Music not only gets students excited about learning, but helps lock in core concepts, organize movement, and offers an alternate plan to communication. Designed by an Austism Specialist and Music Therapist, this learning program integrates evidence-based techniques from the fields of special education, applied behavior analysis, and music therapy to help your students reach their potential in core education goal areas.
Different than typical children's music, the inventive tunes on the CD have been customized for special learners with autism and related disorders, including ample response time, simplified language, and repetition. In addition, students get hands-on practice opportunities during each song by imitating motor movements, following instructions, or answering questions.
Learning Volume 3 offers you a wealth of stimulating resources you can use throughout the week, including a full color Learn-Along Book featuring real-life photos and large print social scripts for students to follow along, lesson plans, sample IEP objectives, Step by Step Teaching Hierarchy, data sheets, flashcards, checklists, and picture icons to use on visual schedules.
Each targeted task analysis or script is paired with an easy to remember song that is entertaining for a variety of ages, making it fun for students to learn hand washing, hygiene, toothbrushing, toileting, community safety, breathing techniques, transitions, and appropriate in-seat behavior.
