These games are designed to progress in difficulty. To avoid frustration, when introducing a new card skill to a child, it may be necessary to start with only a few matches while playing the following three games:

> "The Match Maker Game" is played first to introduce and familiarize the players with the new card skill.
> "The Memory Game" is played to practice the new cards while both players view the cards together in order to assist one another.
> "The Go Fish Game" is played to evaluate the child's ability and confidence with the card skill.
