The Kaufman Speech Praxis Workout Book  Take treatment of apraxia of speech to the next level with this reproducible hardcover Workout Book. Specifically designed for children who have mastered the sounds targeted by the Kaufman Speech Praxis Kit Basic Level (m, p, b, t, d, n, and h), it builds foundation skills with fun and engaging exercises to stabilize the pronunciation of consonant-vowel combinations and leads to rapid development of functional verbal communication. It also provides the flexibiility to copy excercises to be sent home with the child as homework. Each workout is written so as to explain what skill is being targeted, how to perform the exercise, and specific help that is to be offered to the child. This straight-forward style allows parents and other caregivers to guide the child through the workouts, reinforcining the work done by the SPL.

If you currently use the basic level Kaufman Speech Praxis Kit you'll surely want to add this book to your treatment repertoire.
