Sounds Good To Me GP06  This book has been designed with special needs children in mind, although beginning readers of any level can benefit from the positive experiences inside. Activities in the book have been created for children of varying ability levels.

This book is a great tool for teaching the letters of the alphabet and how they sound at the beginning of words. For example, The letter "D" sounds like duh-duh DUCK. Children match, identify, and label the pictures, then put them on the appropriate square to match the letter with the same beginning sound. For example, the picture of the "apple" will go next to the letter "A". You can also ask the children questions that they can answer verbally or by pointing to the correct pictures. For example, what do you use when it rains? Answer: Umbrella.

Extra or replacement velcro-backed 4-color picture cards can be purchased to replace lost or damaged cards and can be placed in AAC devices for communications or used to create new sentences and games.
