So Many Colors - A Step 1 Concept Book Set SPR108  This concept book from "Special Reads for Special Needs" provides you with a reading method that can jump-start any child to reading success. The three-step method uses whole language and discrete trial practice with sight words using a proven fast flash technique.

The charming pictures with engaging opposite page text grab the attention of all children and adults. With the inception of "No Child Left Behind" law (NCLB), this program is essential.

Fourteen jumbo flash cards (11' x 4.25") are included for the following words:

Children with developmental delays or challenges such as Down Syndrome, Autism, and ADD/ADHD can succeed quickly in reading "a whole book!"

The included interactive CD-ROM was designed by a speech-language pathologist and will expand the student's learning through matching games and other activities. It includes an electronic version of the book as well as both on-computer activities and off-computer activities with plently of auditory feedback. The on-computer activities include extra visual practice (matching words to pictures) and auditory practice (hearing the word and selecting the correct word). The off-computer activities include print-outs for games matching pictures and words. It also contains a file for printing extra copies of the flash cards for use in testing through matching. This delightful CD was designed to be used as a supplemental enhancement to the reading book.
