Your therapy patients/students will love the format of a zoo adventure! Included in this work is "Lesson Content" describing each sound, a "map" detailing each animal to visit for the targeted muscle placement, a atudent checklist for assessing "present level of performance", "targeted word lists" with zoo specific words, and "carryover sentence sheets" with and without cues to assess progress. Many "games" are also included to further enhance the "fun" of the zoo trip. All worksheets and games are included on a CD for easy and immediate reproduction.

The ultimate surprise with this work is the Zoo oral peripheral examination that guides you to identifying which musculature to target. Every error consonant identified on any formal articulation exam can be plotted to help guide the therapist in identifying which animals (alligator, bat, fish, frog, hippo, lion, parrot, snake, and squirrel) to visit based on sound patterns. Each animal has a special movement or action that they perform to help with a specific speech sound approximation.
