Interactive Reading Software Library 1 GP40  Library 1 features all the activities included in the following Interactive Reading Books:

2. What Color Is It?
3. I Go to School (school schedule)
4. Things I Do At Home (home schedule)
5. Action! (verbs)
6. Sounds Good To Me (phonics & alphabet)
7. The Ups and Downs of Opposites
8. How Do I Feel? (emotions)

The software reads the books aloud with highlighted text and lets the student click on any word for identification. It features picture-to-picture and picture-to-word matching exercises with a speech recording option. It includes an easy-to-use management system that lets you select specific books and activities for each student to work on and stores their performance results! Requires Windows 2000 or higher, touch screen and single switch compatible.

The books are represented by large icons at the top of the screen. Students choose from a selection of one to four books. The number of books and the specific books shown for a student are adjustable options in "User Management."

There are four activities for each book:
1. Matching shows a large "Match To" card and multiple smaller cards to choose from. The number of smaller cards showing can be set in "User Management."
2. Identification is similar to Matching, but the large "Match To" card shows only the printed word and the match choices show only the image.
3. Labeling records the student's verbal resonse. A microphone needs to be functioning with the computer system to use this activity.
4. Reading shows and reads a sentence. The student recreates the sentence by selecting matching cards to "fill in the blank."

The program defaults to Matching. Select an activity from the "Activity" drop-down list on the screen or in "User Management."
