Favorite Tales & More Favorite Tales for Language Learners ECL32028  Each of the 6 stories in each set has 4 material components that can be used individually or together:
1. A brief, simplified version of the story, accompanied by 12 sequenced illustrations.
2. An interactive version of the story which uses a slightly higher level of sentence construction combined with comprehension questions.
3. A set of 12 sequenced illustrations in a larger size appropriate for making into cards and using for sequencing or story telling.
4. Flannel board patterns of the principal story characters and objects that can be colored, cut out, and glued to flannel. These patterns can also be glued to cardboard to make hand-held puppets or reduced on a photocopy machine, then colored, cut out, and laminated to make a set of smaller manipulables.
