Following is a description of each Phonics Practice Simplified Book that provides thorough coverage of different phonics concepts for different grade levels:

Book A - Introduction to Sounds & Words for grade levels PreK, K, 1, & 2 provides sequential development of concepts and skills such as recognizing, matching, and identifying letters; consonant sounds; hard and soft sounds; long and short sounds. It uses a variety of teaching approaches and techniques (Listen and Color; Complete and Choose Words; Use Picture Clues; and Use Rhymes; Letter and Sound Recognition).

Book B - Initial Consonants for grade levels PreK, K, 1, 2, & 3 provides sequential development of concepts and skills for the 21 consonants and the two sounds c and g. It uses a variety of teaching approaches and techniques (Listen and Color; Complete and Choose Words; Use Meanings in Content; Use Rhymes; Letter and Sound Recognition).

Book C - Final & Medial Consonants for grade levels K, 1, 2, & 3 provides sequential development of concepts and skills for the 15 consonants that are commonly found at the end or middle of words. It uses a variety of teaching approaches and techniques (Listen and Color; Complete and Choose Words; Use Meanings in Content; Use Rhymes; Final Consonants).

Book D - Short & Long Vowel for grade levels K, 1, 2, 3, & 4 provides sequential development of concepts and skills that present the most common and regular sounds of short and long vowels. Book E - Vowel Combinations for grade levels 1, 2, 3, & up provides sequential development of concepts and skills that feature irregular vowel sounds, including diphthongs, r-controlled vowels, and others, such as oo, au, aw, ea, ie, ei, and a.
