All In One - Articulation & Language Materials for Clinicians & Teachers ECL 52207 (CLON) #369
All In One - Articulation & Language Materials for Clinicians & Teachers ECL 52207 (CLON)  Use this book as an articulation/language program in the classroom or in individual/group therapy.

Part I consists of 50 specific articulation activities, each with language components and IEP goals. The 50 lessons target /s/, /r/, /l/ in intial, medial, and final postions in words.

Part II is a companion section of 50 assorted practical information topics centered on conversational speech. These discussion activities are language-skill based and are designed to promote carryover of the articulation skills acquired in Part I. Each activity has a vocabulary development component and a list of the language skills that are included. IEP language goals for these activities are located in the Appendix.

The Appendix provides a large selection of IEP language goals organized by language skill area. Each of the 6 skill areas in the Appendix contains at least one goal which has generally applicability to all activites in Part II.

The language lessons cover a variety of auditory and verbal areas including:
> Memory
> Comprehension
> Semantics
> Morphology
> Pragmatics

Among the specific language skills covered are:
> Inference
> Predicting
> Cause and effect
> Problem solving
> Classification
> Sequencing
> Rhyming
> Incongruities
> Wh-questions
> Synonyms
> Antonyms
> Reasoning

Students will draw from their own experiences and apply critical thinking as they acquire new knowledge through discussions of nature, social relationships, and general information. Used separately or together, the materials in this book will go far in providing a full school year of lesson plans and IEP goals for speech-language pathologists.
