Speech/Language Pathologist
Marilyn Toomey, certified speech/language pathologist, has worked with children from preschool through high school for over 30 years. She has a wealth experience in wide range of speech and language areas. During her years as a school speech/language pathologist she developed and published several books and materials, primarily targeting language development, language comprehension and expression, functional and social language. Marilyn says,” I often knew what kinds of materials were needed to help a particular child, but couldn’t find them.” Each of the books she wrote was born out of such needs.
