Davene Fahy
Speech-Language Pathologist
Davene Fahy is a speech-language pathologist who is a life member of ASHA. She received her BA and MA in speech-language pathology from Temple University in Philadelphia, PA. She has worked as a speech therapist and Special Education Director for more than 40 years in the Philadelphia area and in Maine. She has always looked for a children's book about kids with articulation problems. Not finding one, she decided to write CHARLIE WHO COULDN'T SAY HIS NAME.
Davene has just completed her second book entitled ANTHONY BEST which is a story about a preschool boy with Asperger's Syndrome.
Davene lives on the coast of Maine with her husband, the writer Christopher Fahy.
