Davene Fahy
Speech-Language Pathologist
Davene Fahy is a speech-language pathologist who is a life member of ASHA. She received her BA and MA in speech-language pathology from Temple University in Philadelphia, PA. She has worked as a speech therapist and Special Education Director for more than 40 years in the Philadelphia area and in Maine. She has always looked for a children's book about kids with articulation problems. Not finding one, she decided to write CHARLIE WHO COULDN'T SAY HIS NAME.
Davene has just completed her second book entitled, ANTHONY BEST- THE BEST BOY- a story about autism which is expected to have a summer '08 publication date.
Davene lives on the coast of Maine with her husband, the writer Christopher Fahy.
